Cal Newport

Newport argues for intentional technology: a small number of tools that serve values you actually hold, and real conversation over the thin "connection" of likes and notifications.

Orbit is deliberately not another feed. It has no infinite scroll, no engagement metrics, no reason to keep you inside it. It surfaces one meaningful thing and gets out of the way, so the technology serves the relationship instead of competing with it.
